Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: October 22, 2026  |  Designs by D

Accessibility isn't an afterthought for me, it's part of how I build every site, including this one. This statement explains what I aim for, what's actually in place, and how to reach me if something isn't working for you.

01 Our Commitment

Designs by D is committed to making oxmedia.digital usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility work is part of our own development practice, not something we bolt on at the end, and it's one of the real skills we bring to client projects too.

02 Standard We Aim For

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. These guidelines cover things like color contrast, keyboard navigability, screen reader compatibility, and clear page structure.

03 Measures We Take

Concretely, this site is built with:

  • Semantic HTML: proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer), and native interactive elements instead of generic clickable divs.
  • Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements, including the mobile menu and form fields, are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
  • Color contrast: text and interactive elements are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios on the dark background.
  • Reduced motion support: the animated background and 3D hero graphic respect your operating system's "reduce motion" setting, falling back to a static, non-animated frame.
  • Descriptive alt text: meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; purely decorative graphics (like the background particles) are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Form labeling: contact form fields use associated labels, not just placeholder text.
  • Responsive design: the site works and remains readable from small phone screens up to large desktop monitors.

04 Known Limitations

No website is perfectly accessible, and this one is no exception. We're aware that decorative elements like the animated 3D hero graphic and the site-wide particle background, while marked as decorative and motion-reduced where possible, add visual complexity that may be distracting for some users. We're also an actively evolving site, pages added recently may not have had the same level of accessibility review as older ones.

If you encounter a specific barrier, please tell us (see Feedback below), it genuinely helps us prioritize fixes.

05 Third-Party Content

This site links out to live client websites and third-party tools (analytics, fonts, our contact form backend). We do our own accessibility work on oxmedia.digital itself, but we don't control the accessibility of third-party sites we link to.

06 Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time checklist. As this site evolves, we re-test and fix issues as they're found, both through our own review and through feedback from visitors.

07 Feedback & Contact

If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, we want to know. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you were using if relevant, and we'll work to fix it.

Note This statement reflects our current, good-faith effort and is not a certification of full compliance. We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA but can't guarantee every page meets every criterion at all times.
