Case Study
Live & in productionSchwiftyy
My own studio's site. GetSchwiftyy.com is a Denver web design shop built around real client verticals, SEO cornerstone pages, and specific positioning, instead of a generic "we build websites" pitch. It's also the proving ground for the deploy pipeline every client site now runs on.
The Problem
A studio site that needed to sell itself without sounding generic.
A web design shop's own site is the hardest site to build: everyone claims "custom design" and "real results." Schwiftyy needed to actually prove the craft, with real case studies (I Battle Me Daily and Force Peptides Online are both linked from its own work page) and specific vertical positioning instead of stock agency copy.
On the infra side, the site also needed a deploy pipeline that wouldn't silently break: an earlier auto-deploy webhook had quietly stopped firing, and self-hosted fonts were required because the Vercel build sandbox couldn't reach Google Fonts reliably.
What Was Built
A focused App Router site with real portfolio data.
- Vertical positioning: "Denver custom website design" as the core, with dedicated landing pages for specific client verticals instead of one generic services page.
- Real portfolio: its own
/workpage pulling from a typeddata/work-projects.tsfile, listing I Battle Me Daily and Force Peptides Online as actual shipped case studies, not mockups. - Self-hosted fonts: dropped
next/font/googlein favor of fonts bundled directly into the repo, after the Vercel build sandbox couldn't reliably reach Google's font CDN during builds. - Resend contact form: routed through a Vercel Function, the same pattern reused across every client site since.
- Fixed auto-deploy: diagnosed and repaired a broken GitHub webhook so pushes to the sole
oxmediaremote actually trigger a Vercel build again, instead of relying on manual deploys.
Outcome
Live, canonical, and the template for everything after it.
getschwiftyy.com runs on apex-domain canonical URLs on Vercel, auto-deploying on every push. The patterns built here (self-hosted fonts, Vercel Function contact forms, vertical-specific landing pages) became the baseline for client builds that followed.
